I am starting this blog just like I start any new journal. I prefer to delay, postpone writing, and let the book of blank pages sit on my lap for a few days, weeks, months....until I get inspired by the ordinary.
Why have I kept this blog entry on my "lap" for over two years?
1- I believed for a long time that I am not a blogger (Which is a pretty valid statement)
2- I didn't know what to say
3- I didn't realize that I didn't NEED to know what to say
Over time I have realized that though I haven't been active on this blog ever, it IS important to me and I believe it has a purpose that I can only tap into by writing it out.
The name of this blog will be the general theme throughout my entries. Simple Turn is not only the name of my business, but also speaks into the purposes that God has placed on my heart. A contagious Kingdom excitement can always be stirred deep within me when I talk about Simple Turn. I know that stirring can only happen when the topic is also deep within Father's heart, too.
The heart I have been given for Simple Turn can be encompassed in this passage below.
9 "Wisdom has built her house,
She has hewn out her seven pillars;
2 She has slaughtered her meat,
She has mixed her wine,
She has also furnished her table.
3 She has sent out her maidens,
She cries out from the highest places of the city,
4 “Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!”
As for him who lacks understanding, she says to him,
5 “Come, eat of my bread
And drink of the wine I have mixed.
6 Forsake foolishness and live,
And go in the way of understanding."

Proverbs 9:1-6
I love to travel and I have been absent from my childhood circles for many years. In that time, God used my interests and formed it into His purpose. Or maybe it was the other way around. His purpose increasingly became my interest.
